If you just got a new Android phone and want to transfer your contacts from your old phone, here's a simple guide to help you. There are different ways to transfer your contacts, but in this guide, we'll show you the easiest way to transfer your contacts using Google's cloud.

Transferring Contacts Using Google's Cloud

Here's how to transfer your contacts from your old Android phone to your new Android phone using Google's cloud:

  1. On your old phone, go to "Settings"
  2. Click on "Passwords and accounts" and select your Google account
  3. Turn on "Contacts" and wait for it to sync and backup your contacts
  4. On your new phone, turn on "Contacts" sync and wait for it to restore all your contacts

If you don't have access to your Google account or can't sync your contacts, you can still transfer your contacts manually.

Transferring Contacts Manually

Here's how to transfer your contacts manually:

  1. Download the "Google Contacts" app from the Google Play Store on your old phone
  2. Open the app and go to "Fix and manage"
  3. Tap "Export to file" and select the account you want to export your contacts from
  4. Save the contacts as a .vcf file
  5. On your new phone, tap "Import from file" and select the .vcf file to import your contacts

And that's it! Now you have all your contacts transferred from your old Android phone to your new phone.
